What's New?

*Notice*  This summer, StarzzFan.com is scaling back its coverage.  One of us (Karra) has a Sept. 1 deadline to finish her book on the first women's professional basketball league, the WBL, and the other is helping with loose ends.  So we just don't have time for a lot of the fun stuff, and will only be updating sporadically, and then mostly with pictures.  (But what great pictures!  Betty + front-row seat + expensive camera = some of the best action shots you'll see on any fan site.)

Starzz Record:  10-5

What is this?  A page devoted to the Utah Starzz and their fans.

Why are we doing this?  We love the Starzz.

Who are we?   Two computer-illiterate women out of our element.  We are not now, nor have we ever been, affiliated with the Utah Starzz or ye olde WNBA.

The Utah Starzz was one of the original eight teams inaugurated into the Women's National Basketball Association in 1997.  This fan page chronicles the ups and downs of the team from the opening tipoff on June 21, 1997, to today.

Click on the navigation buttons above and below for: Summaries of the games (Starzz Wars); things we see from the sideline (Courtside); officiating at its worst (Bad Call of the Day); Top Ten lists of our opinions (Top 10); pictures and bios of Starzz personnel (Who's That?); pics from all four seasons with irrelevant captions (Candid Camera); Starzz-related news (Starzz Biz); upcoming events and games (What's Up) and links to other Starzz-related and WNBA sites (Linkzz).   There's also a place to comment to your heart's delight about the Starzz or this web page (Rants & Raves).
